WELCOME

The Chinese American Heritage Foundation is dedicated to celebrating the rich history of Chinese Americans' contributions to the American spirit.

Our Mission:

Recognize. Appreciate. Celebrate!

The Chinese American Heritage Foundation promotes the recognition, appreciation, and celebration of historical contributions made to the United States by citizens of Chinese heritage.

There are many untold stories of how Chinese immigrants contributed to the greatness of the American Dream: from burrowing out the caverns for the wineries of Sonoma and Napa Valley, California to the building of the Transcontinental Railroad, from serving as Veterans of World War II with the legendary Flying Tigers to cross-pollinating the Sunkist Orange to make it impervious to disease, Chinese immigrants have been the silent skilled laborers, the silent heroes, and the silent innovators since coming to America.

The Chinese American Heritage Foundation's mission is to make sure these precious stories are not lost through the weather of time, but are supplanted into our nation's rich history and preserved for future generations.

The Chinese American Heritage Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law.

The CAHF is proud to present our 2020 Rose Parade float: “American Heroes”. Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of America’s Victory in World War II and Honor our Veterans.

16 Apr 2025, Boston, MA: Retired Major General Bill Chen provides his perspective on Breaking the Bamboo Ceiling, where the Bamboo Ceiling refers to barriers that exclude Asian Americans from top executive and leadership positions, and where Asian Americans are perceived as diligent and technically proficient but lack communication skills and leadership presence -- and are stereotyped as quiet, shy, non-confrontational, and unwilling to speak up or make waves.
